Nikita Ratings

According to TV EDGE
The ratings for Nikita are falling this season, and is currently the lowest rated show on the C.W.

How is this possible?
The views that are counted in the weekly ratings are of only those who have a “Neilson Box” or “TiVo”
Unfortunatly if we do not have either of these features on our TV I am not sure our views are counted. Unfortunatly the rating system for calculated views is a really old and clearly inaccurate.
I thought up some ways that you can help the ratings, or at least send the message out that even if your view isn’t counted you are still watching.

How Can You Help?
1. Watch the show while it is airing on Friday nights
2. Sign up to GETGLUE
and “Check In” while watching the show.
3. Tweet about the show using the hashtag #Nikita
4. Email/Write to The CW tell them how much you love the show
5. If you miss an episode, make sure to BUY it on Itunes so that your view is counted.
6. Some fans have started up a “Twitition” to renew Nikita for season 3, so feel free to sign it HERE

Hopefully the ratings will increase Nikita fans can prove there are more people watching then what the ratings are saying! Let’s spread Nikita awareness folks!

Lyndsy-Fonseca.net to Go Dark in Protest of SOPA and PIPA

On January 18th, 2012, Lyndsy-Fonseca.net will go dark at 12am MT in protest of the Stop Online Privacy Act (SOPA) and PIPA (Protect IP Act). During that time, visitors will be directed to a black page informing you that the site has gone dark and is not available. The site will re-open at 12am MT (January 19th, 2012).

Many of our affiliate sites will be going dark as well in protest including some of our sister sites, Desperatefans.org, and Dana-Delany.org

To learn more about SOPA please visit Wikipedia here and PIPA at Wikipedia here. Wikipedia along with other websites around the web will also be going dark in protest of these bills.

Lyndsy’s Hair Secret

Ok ladies, after last nights episode I noticed all the tweets about Lyndsys perfect hair. Gorgeous right? I actually asked Lyndsy a few weeks ago about how she gets such perfect curls. Here is what Lyndsy had to say,

“I use a flat iron sometimes to curl the ends of my hair but I have really wavy hair so I usually diffuse it and then curl a few top pieces with a small curling iron”

There you have it ladies, theres no real secret, she’s just blessed with perfect hair.

We have opened a new photo album here on FonsecaNet called “Young Lyndsy”, the first two photos you may have seen via twitter but we are the only ones with the 2 new exclusive photos that Lyndsy has given us. The first one is from her first birthday, and the second is a photo of Lyndsy holding her baby sister Hannah as a baby! Sooo Cute!!

Lyndsy also celebrated her 25th birthday last night with friends and family, in attendance were former cast members Tiffany Hines and Ashton Holmes.

Lyndsy has been so great to her fans, sharing photos of herself along with some of her friends from last night.

Only 7 days into the New Year and we’re already kicking it off with a bang! And with a brand new episode of Nikita airing yesterday and a trip to Costa Rica with her family Lyndsy’s year is already off to a lovely start. Today is her 25th birthday and Angel and I want to celebrate it with all of you , from far and wide and all ages. She’s been a wonderful light in our lives and I know many of you fans feel the same. She is one of the most sweetest and kindest women I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.

As another year comes to a close, officially as of tonight, Lyndsy, Angel and I are once again taking the time to thank you all for your love and support! We’ve had an amazing year and we so look forward to many more years with all of the wonderful fans. Please be safe if you’re going out tonight!
