Lyndsy Marie Fonseca is an American actress currently starring in the CW smash hit 'Nikita'. She's best known for playing Colleen "CeCe" Carlton on The Young and The Restless, Dylan Mayfair on ABC's Desperate Housewives and Katie Deauxma in the Kick-Ass film franchise.

Yesterday creator Craig Silverstein confirmed via twitter that Nikita will come back for a 4th season. The season will be shortened to only 6 episodes. In Craig’s tweet he promised “an incredible finish.”
I spoke to Lyndsy and asked her how she felt about the news, this is what she had to say
“I’m sad for the fans that it’s only 6 epiosdes,
but I’m so happy we get the opportunity to give them an incredible ending to the show!”
We think it’s bittersweet. We are sad to see Nikita end but are excited to see what the future hold for Lyndsy. We know it’s just a matter of time before she gets cast in her next role.

How exciting! IMDBTV has announced that Warner Bro’s released the list of shows attending this year’s San Diego Comic Con and Nikita was on the list! THURSDAY, JULY 12: Series stars Maggie Q, Shane West and Lyndsy Fonseca join executive producer Craig Silverstein. (Room 6BCF)
For those who weren’t with us during last year’s Con, that’s where I was finally able to meet Lyndsy for the first time after I’d done the autograph signing! The cast were so wonderful and while I wasn’t able to attend last year’s panel, I’m certainly hoping to get in there this year!
Other WB shows heading to Con this year are: The Big Bang Theory, Fringe, Person of Interest, Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries, 666 Park Avenue, Arrow, Cult, The Following, Revolution, Childrens Hospital, DC Nation and Mad.
I have been holding in a secret for a few weeks now, but after talking to Lyndsy today, she has given me permission to officially announce that she will be reprising her role as Katie Deauxma in Kick Ass 2.
Here is what Lyndsy had to say
“It’s a small part because of Nikita, but I’m in it, I start shooting in September. You can post it. I’m deff gunna do it, unless something crazy happens.”

The ratings for Nikita are falling this season, and is currently the lowest rated show on the C.W.
How is this possible?
The views that are counted in the weekly ratings are of only those who have a “Neilson Box” or “TiVo”
Unfortunatly if we do not have either of these features on our TV I am not sure our views are counted. Unfortunatly the rating system for calculated views is a really old and clearly inaccurate.
I thought up some ways that you can help the ratings, or at least send the message out that even if your view isn’t counted you are still watching.
How Can You Help?
1. Watch the show while it is airing on Friday nights
2. Sign up to GETGLUE
and “Check In” while watching the show.
3. Tweet about the show using the hashtag #Nikita
4. Email/Write to The CW tell them how much you love the show
5. If you miss an episode, make sure to BUY it on Itunes so that your view is counted.
6. Some fans have started up a “Twitition” to renew Nikita for season 3, so feel free to sign it HERE
Hopefully the ratings will increase Nikita fans can prove there are more people watching then what the ratings are saying! Let’s spread Nikita awareness folks!
