Warning: If you’ve yet to watch Friday’s Nikita, avert your eyes now. Everyone else, read on…

Everything changed on Nikita this Friday, when Alex — who has seemed a little off since being kidnapped by Amanda, no? — took the matter of “freeing” Division into her own hands.

What exactly that meant wasn’t entirely clear at first, only that someone (ahem, Alex) was forming a mutiny of sorts among the non-inner-circle agents in hopes of putting an end to the underground organization that had been (unintentionally) taking innocent lives.

How better to celebrate breast cancer awareness month than by premiering some brand new, original content from some of the smartest and strongest, and let’s face it, most influential, women in entertainment? Lifetime knows that, so they have scheduled the Five, the short film anthology compilation to premiere in October. Coming from uber-producer Marta Kauffman and featuring the directorial talents of Jennifer Aniston, Demi Moore, and Alicia Keys, Five weaves five separate stories seamlessly together with the common themed thread of how breast cancer has affected the lives of all of the characters within.

Five highlights the shared experience each short film’s title character (“Charlotte (Goodwin),” “Cheyanne (Fonseca),” “Lili (Dawson),” “Mia (Clarkson),” and “Pearl (Tripplehorn)”) endures during the moment of diagnosis. If you love The Big C as much as we do, this is a longer form version of that initial pilot episode and a way to see varied responses and struggles. We all react differently to potentially devastating news. Five holds the mirror up and then offers us a spot of hope.

“Cheyanne” centers on a young stripper and her husband (Kenney) as they try to redefine their relationship with this shocking news. Her treatment requires a double masectomy, which challenges her physically, emotionally, and in her line of work, financially.

Dillon Casey has joined the cast of The CW’s Nikita, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

The 27-year-old Vampire Diaries alum, whose credits also include Torchwood: Miracle Day and Being Erica, will play Sean Pierce, who is both a foe to Nikita (Maggie Q) and a possible future love interest to Alex (Lyndsy Fonseca).

Check out the rest of today’s news

As we first reported, Pierce is a handsome, upstanding Special Forces commander, who is tasked by Oversight to observe and report on Division’s dealings. As he attempts to recover Percy’s black box, he’ll find himself caught between Nikita and her former protégée, Alex.

Nikita’s second season debuts Friday, Sept. 23 on The CW.

Coming down from our morning excitement, we’ve got some exciting Season 2 Nikita news to share with you. And once Comic Con hits you can expect a lot of new information to hit the web. I will be there representing FonsecaNet and hopefully seeing Lyndsy so if you have any questions send them in to me at lyndsyfonsecanet@gmail.com and I will try and see if I can get some of them answered for you.

Now onto the spoilers:

Nikita | Lyndsy Fonseca promises it’s going to be “very interesting” to see how formidable a foe Alex will be now that she knows Nikita’s role in her father’s death and is privy to the birthright she was denied. And Fonseca is champing at the bit for the challenge. “I’m excited for something different,” she says. “Alex is now standing one her own as her own woman, as opposed to being some little recruit.” Indeed, now that Alex is detached from BFF Nikita and determined to dig up all the dirt on her father’s murder, Fonseca says, “She’ll find an inner strength that we all should be very, very scared of.” You hear that, Mikita?
